6th NGSE - Next Generation Solar Energy Conference

[CONFERENCE]

VIPERLAN supports the partecipation in the 6th next Generation Solar Energy (NGSE)  the last one of an international conference series organized by the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg for Renewable Energies (HI ERN) in collaboration with international organizations,

This year the event is co-organized with the National Renewable Energy Labs (NREL), the Erlangen Graduate School of Excellence in Optical Technologies (SAOT) and the International Research Training Group “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices” (IGK 2495). .

The NGSE6 will focus on concepts to break the Detailed-Balance Limit and it provide sessions on:

  • Detailed-balance Limit and Fundamentals
  • Multiple Exciton Generation
  • Up and Down Conversion
  • Singlet Fission
  • Hot Electron Capture
  • Emerging Concepts

Similar to the 2020 NGSE5 a series of longer tutorials is offered, as well as shorter impulse lectures on current results and trends, to examine concepts for going towards the thermodynamic limit in Photovoltaics.

Schedule

The NGSE6 conference is organized with 4 tutorials (45 min + 5 min discussion) and 14 invited talks (25 min + 5 min discussion) from leading scientists from all over the world.
