PV-IMPACT Matching event on Perovskite-silicon tandems

December 1st , 2021 9:30 - 13:00 on line

PV-IMPACT is an H2020 European Commission funded project offers support to the actual execution of the Implementation Plan for Photovoltaics  and monitoring its delivery by carring out a variety of approaches to stimulate the private sector to spend more on PV Research, development and Innovation in Europe

A series of 14 half-day highly interactive matching events has been planned that will serve primarily to bring companies in contact with other companies  to make new connections and find partners with whom to work on future projects under EU and/or national funding schemes

SAVE THE DATE for the next pv impact matchmaking events  on Perovskite-silicon tandems!

Perovskite-silicon tandems are considered by many to be the photovoltaic technology of the future that will allow to produce cost-effective PV panels with efficiencies above 30%, thereby surpassing the theoretical efficiency limits of silicon PV technology which is the current workhorse of the industry. Although many companies and research groups have shown lab efficiencies that are nearing the 30% mark, most of these devices are still on a very small surface area and produced with lab processes. Hence, a lot more collaborative research and development is needed to tackle issues such as upscaling to large module sizes, improving the device stability, optimizing the energy yield, lowering the processing cost, etc.

Are you working within this field and looking to make new connections and find partners to work with on future Perovskite-silicon tandems projects under international and/or national funding schemes?

Viperlab will partecipate in next PV-IMPACT Matching event

Register to participate in the event

Programme

Each half-day event will follow this rough schedule

  • Welcome, introduction and objective of the session (15’)
  • Funding mechanisms review (10’ each, max 40’)
  • Speed-dating sessions (120’ (include 2x10’ break) on the assumption of 8-minute conversations)
  • Facilitated networking (30’)
  • Awards based on the scores (20’)
