VIPERLAB YouTube channel launched by Fraunhofer's Research Infrastructure presentation

[Project Update]

H2020 VIPERLAB Project offers free access to the state-of-the-art perovskite EU infrastructures that cover the whole innovation/value chain from material preparation to characterization of perovskite devices and modules.

The communication and dissemination strategy of the VIPERLAB project is now enriched by the YouTube channel, a new tool that will allow us to upload interesting videos regarding science and technology to share with the perovskite and solar energy community, with the possibility of accessing easily and to evaluate them with Like/Dislike like and comment on them, as well as to share them with other interested students/researchers/professionals/stakeholders to ensure the widest dissemination.

We open our YouTube channel by presenting  the Viperlab  Fraunhofer Infrastructure's  video.

This Research Infrastructure provides to the project an outstanding Research Infrastructure for manufacturing & Characterization for the solar cell processing, including a range of vacuum deposition technologies, wet-chemical perovskite processing, metallisation and interconnection technology.

Baseline processes are available that allow for high efficiencies. Furthermore, characterization equipment are available for electrical and optical analysis of perovskite and perovskite-silicon tandem cells and precursors, as well as micro- and nano-analytics for root cause analysis. The key services offered by the research infrastructure are: * High efficiency silicon bottom cells * Vacuum and wet chemical processing of layers for perovskite tandem solar cells * Metallisation concepts * Electrical and optical analyses of perovskite silicon tandem cells and precursers * High resolution analyses down to the nano scale

Speakers:

  • Dr. Martin SCHUBERT Head of Quality Assurance, Characterization and Simulation @ Fraunhofer-ISE
  • Dr. Florian SCHINDLER Head of Material and Cell Characterization @ Fraunhofer-ISE
  • Dr. Patricia SCHULZE Novel Solar Cell Cocepts @ Fraunhofer-ISE

  • duration: 1m:07s
